LUCKY FOR LIFE TOP PRIZE WINNING LOTTERY TICKET
July 7, 2013
In its 28 years as a CT Lottery retail location, Stateline Stationery, located at 215 Mill Street in Greenwich, has had a long history of selling big-time winning lottery tickets: Two multi-million dollar Lotto jackpots wins, several $100,000, $50,000 and $10,000 scratch game wins, along with a steady stream of daily game wins. Recently, Stateline Stationery added another significant win to its growing list—the sale of a top prize winning “Lucky for Life” ticket—the only lottery game with a top prize of $1,000 a day for life.

Lucky for Life is a unique lottery game because its top prize value is based on the longevity of the winner. The minimum guaranteed amount a top prize winner will receive is $7,300,000 ($1,000 a day for 20 years), but winners who live longer than that will receive prize payments for the remainder of their natural life.

On June 17, the numbers that Pedro Infante of Port Chester, NY, chose to play matched the winning Lucky for Life numbers drawn on that date: 5 - 15 - 18 - 23 - 29 with Lucky Ball number, 6.

Across New England, 63,751 winning Lucky for Life tickets were sold for the June 17 drawing. A total of 20,499 tickets were sold in CT alone with prizes ranging from $2 to $1,000 a day for life.

“We sell a lot of winning tickets here,” said Stateline Stationery’s current store manager, Harry Patel. “Just the other day, we sold a $50,000 top prize ticket. It's very exciting, especially for our players.”

For selling Infante his Lucky for Life top prize winning ticket, Stateline Stationery is also considerably lucky—they will receive a $20,000 bonus check from the CT Lottery.
